Midlands born (now Sheffield based) artist, Digital Horse Brasses, is often to be found hanging out of hedgerows in pursuit of 20th century litter.
A lifelong compulsion to find abandoned objects has led him to respond to these finds through printmaking, sculpture and digital collage. From casting duplicates of a fencepost in concrete, to reproducing a 1970s newspaper fragment in etching, he elevates the neglected and the mundane in a medium befitting the original.
Through photography, he seeks to capture fading traces of 20th Century life, both urban and suburban.
